Training a dog is a complicated process, but the end result of properly enacted training process will generally result in a dog that can perform a variety of tasks and skills that is far beyond what most people thought possible. Now, while many will assume that these training programs involve nothing more than basic obedience and tricks. Granted, while a great many of the programs are designed to instill these basic ‘value systems’ there are those training programs that go far beyond the basics and teach very complicated aspects of training with a high level of success. Seeing Eye Dogs Probably the most well known – and most misunderstood – would be the training required for guide training for a dog. That is, while most people realize that dogs are usually trained to become Seeing Eye dogs for the visually impaired, they may not understand the complexity involved with such training nor do they realize what types of dogs are best suited for being a Seeing Eye dog.
